Background
A quiet, artistic kid growing up on Long Island, I just wanted to make beautiful things.
But the more I witnessed the world, the more I wanted to help improve it. Studying journalism at the University of Maryland sharpened my writing and deepened my understanding of people—and their fundamental need to be heard.
Seeking more visual forms of storytelling, I began my design career at Bully Pulpit International working with brands committed to meaningful change.
Contributing to Biden’s 2020 Presidential campaign proved transformative, showing me how strategic design could inspire action when the stakes were highest.
I honed my illustration skills through evening classes, YouTube tutorials, and personal challenges.
But I wanted to think bigger and shape entire brand strategies, which led me to SVA’s one-year masters program in branding.
